On June 7, 2022, a round table was held at the Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the Manager Association entitled: What are the forms of sustainability?

The discussion involved: Ivo Boscarol (Pipistrel), Andrej Bergant (Petrol), Matej Čer (Avant car), Cas Lachaert (Ikea Slovenia), Dušan Lukič (Porsche Slovenia/MOON) and  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Blaž Likozar (National Institute of Chemistry). The conversation was led by Nina Langerholc Čebokl, consultant on organizational design and vice-president of the Department of Young Managers at the Association Manager.

Speakers agreed on the importance of  having a sustainable strategy for the company, but more importantly they emphasized that the company  also needs to be able to achieve it. What is more, sustainability needs to be internalised and has to become a main part in finding new solutions, since only sustainable solutions have the potential to exist in the future.  They presented the challenges and compromises that sustainability brings to entrepreneurship on the basis of their own example and described examples of good innovative practices in cutting-edge sustainable product design.

As part of the event also Scientists against plastics were presented with the exhibition Refashion, by the author Petra Jerič. The exhibition was created in collaboration with the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the National Institute of Chemistry. The exhibition is based on an innovative concept of clothing and fashion accessories made from sustainable biopolymeric materials.
